IMPORTANT ENTRY INFORMATION
1. Boat Participation
The Vaal River Bass Classic is a boat-only tournament. Each boat may be occupied by a maximum of two (2) anglers and a maximum of 2 junior backboaters.
2. Boat Requirements & Safety Regulations
To ensure the safety of all participants and the welfare of the fish, all boats must comply with the following requirements:
- Boats must be fitted with an outboard motor of 15 HP or larger.
- A properly functioning kill switch is compulsory.
- Boats must be equipped with a fully operational livewell system capable of keeping five (5) bass alive for a minimum of eight (8) hours.
3. Certification Requirements
Before completing your entry, please ensure the following documentation is available:
- The skipper must hold a valid Certificate of Competence (COC).
- The boat must have a valid Certificate of Fitness (COF).
Images of both certificates must be uploaded during the online registration process.
4. Entry Fee
The official entry fee for the Vaal River Bass Classic is R4,500 per team.
5. Proof of Payment
The full entry fee must be paid within forty-eight (48) hours of submitting the online entry form. Failure to make payment within this period will result in the entry being deemed invalid, and any allocated or earned starting position shall be forfeited.
The team name must be used as the payment reference on all electronic fund transfers (EFTs) to ensure accurate allocation of the payment.
Proof of payment must be emailed to entries@vaalriverbassclassic.co.za.
6. Entry Confirmation
A team’s entry will only be confirmed once full payment of the entry fee has been received and verified.
